The last day of May

Spring is setting in along the banks of the Rum River.

The meadow has several Pussytoe patches.

But beware the poison ivy along the edges!

Spring violets dot the forest floor.

Something as yet unidentified is starting to unroll in the wet marshy area along the path to the river.  Fern fiddles?

And soon to come, Waterleaf will add her light purple flowers to the landscape.
